About Us

Our vision statement summarizes what our church is all about: Love God, Connect People, Make a Difference.

Love God

When asked what the greatest commandment in the Scriptures was, Jesus replied “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” (Matthew 22:37) Having a proper attitude of love, honor, respect, and fear toward God is essential, and forms the basis of everything we do at Waller Baptist Church.

Connect People

The church is a family. We are all brothers and sisters, created to be a community, not a bunch of individuals. After God created Adam, He created Eve because it was not good for man to be alone. And Jesus called us to make disciples of people of all nationalities. Waller Baptist Church strives to connect with people to be a part of our family—the family of God.

Make A Difference

We are not content to be a passive church, a spectator sitting on the sidelines. Jesus called us to help those who are hungry, or thirsty, or sick, or in need (Matthew 25:35-40). The Apostle Paul wrote that we who have faith in God were created for good works (Ephesians 2:10), and James wrote that faith without works is dead (James 2:17). Our love for God and our desire to connect with others drives us to be a church that makes a difference in Waller and beyond.
