Blake Nichols – Senior Pastor
After joining the staff in 2011 as Pastor of Students, Blake was called to serve Waller Baptist Church as Senior Pastor in 2016. He has been in pastoral ministry since 1987, when at a youth camp in Mobile, Alabama he felt God calling him to be a pastor. Before coming to Waller, Blake served as a Church Planter with New Vision Baptist Church in Smyrna, Tennessee and before that as the Next Generation Pastor at Colonial Baptist Church in Wichita Falls, Texas. Blake earned his Masters in Religious Education degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1991. He and his wife Rebecca have been married since 1994 and have four beautiful daughters, Samantha, Sydnie, Sara, and Shae.

Chris May – Worship Pastor
Chris has been leading people to experience God through worship in a variety of venues, including church services, retreats, and conferences since 2000. He has served as Worship Leader and Youth Minister at several local churches, including previously at Waller Baptist in a volunteer capacity. He also has many years of experience teaching and coaching and currently teaches at Northpointe Intermediate in Tomball Independent School District. Chris received a BS in Biology and Religion from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in 1998 and an MEd in Education Leadership from Lamar University in 2010. Chris and his wife Marisa have five children.
