Mark 3:20-35
Mark 3:21 tells us that the family of Jesus thought he was out of his mind and verse 22 tells us that the religious leaders thought He had a demon. What had Jesus done?
• He taught with authority, not like the religious leaders.
• He cast out evil spirits
• He healed people of diseases.
• He forgave people their sin.

None of these things were bad.
Jesus told them that a house divided cannot stand. Everybody loses when there is division. Division brings destruction. Unity is the answer to division.
As believers, we have the strong man inside of us, the Holy Spirit, to overcome evil. People become enslaved by satan when they allow him control by living in disobedience.
Psalm 133: Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity! 2 It is like the precious oil on the head, running down on the beard, on the beard of Aaron, running down on the collar of his robes! 3 It is like the dew of Hermon, which falls on the mountains of Zion! For there the LORD has commanded the blessing, life forevermore.
God commands His blessing where there is unity.

Jesus prayed for unity… that they may all be one…

John 17:20: “I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, 21 that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me.
