Hell?….Yes
Hell?...Yes
2 Thessalonians 1:9
They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His might.
Some think that a loving God would not send anyone to hell but the Scripture tells a different story. Jesus mentioned hell 12 times plus He also spoke about eternal punishment.
What did Jesus say about hell?
- Hell is worse than any physical persecution you can face on earth. Matthew 10:28.
- Hell is a place of regret and sorrow. Matthew 12:37-41.
- Hell is eternal punishment. Matthew 18:8.
- Hell is a constant awareness of a better place that is unattainable. Luke 16:19-31.
The question is not “Why would a loving God send someone to hell? Instead, the question is “How could anyone reject a loving God?
The choice: Eternal grace or eternal punishment?
This is why believers need to share the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ. Romans 6:23: For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
