Philippians 4:11-13

What We Receive In the Presence of God:

Rest: The Lord replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” Exodus 33:14                                                
Knowledge and Joy: You make known to me the path of life; You will fill me with joy in Your presence, with eternal pleasures at Your right hand. Psalm 16:11
Refuge: But as for me, it is good to be near God. I have made the Sovereign Lord my refuge;    I will tell of all Your deeds.  Psalm 73:28
Quietness: He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quiet waters, Psalm 23:2
Times of Refreshing: Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord… Acts 3:19
Mercy and Grace: Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Hebrews 4:16.  

First Step Experiencing God’s Presence. How do you see God”

God is Spirit. “Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit and His worshipers must worship in the Spirit and truth.” John 4:23-24

We must let the spiritual lead us in the physical.   Let the spiritual interpret the physical and NOT the physical interpret the spiritual. This is what David did in Psalm 23.  The Lord is my Shepherd, I lack nothing.  He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quiet waters, He refreshes my soul…
