Don’t Forget To Remember
 Mark 5:21-42
Stories of healing of the woman with the issue of blood & raising Jarius’ daughter from the dead.

Remember:
1. That God has someone on your “12”.  Mark brought two situations together and God had a reason for that.  The woman had the issues of blood for 12 years.  The daughter of Jarius was 12 years old.  She had just been born when the woman begin having health issues.  There are no coincidences with God so it had been planned that the woman would be going the same direction Jesus was traveling. God is always at work even when we don’t see it.

2. To connect and elevate Jesus.   The woman touched Jesus and immediately she was healed. When we connect with Jesus, something happens. Desperation deepens our connection. The two characters in these stories were in desperate situations.  They knew Jesus had authority over everything and was able to restore them. We need to connect our faith to His authority.

3. To not give up.   The woman did not give up on her quest to touch Jesus despite the crowd surrounding Him.  Jarius did not give up when he was told his daughter was dead. Keep the faith and trust God for His deliverance in His time.

4. Get Out comes before Get Up.  There may be things in our life to get out before we can get up.  Jesus removed the people from the room who were mocking Him when He told them the girl was just sleeping.  The environment was not conducive to the presence of God. What lesson that is for us today?  We need to position ourselves to receive what God has for us.  Remember we are children of the King.
