 What We Believe Matters!
James 1:5-8; Hebrews 11:1-3,6; John 14:1-6.
 Three Questions:

Are we on a journey? Yes, we are! Matthew 6:33: Seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness… We are seekers (as a church and as individuals) seeking after God.  James 1:5-8 tells us to seek God for wisdom and He will give it generously.
Is what we believe important? Hebrews 11:1-3,6 reveals the importance of faith. It is impossible to please God without it.
What is our first step? John 14:1-6 gives the answer. Jesus said: I am the way and the truth and the life…

Three Rocks:

You can know truth exists. Truth is not a personal preference.  The answer to life is found in Jesus.  He is the truth.
You can know the truth. John 8:31-32: …Jesus said, “If you hold to My teaching, you are really My disciples.  Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
You can have a relationship with the truth. Truth is a person and that person is Jesus Christ.  John 1:1-4, In the beginning, was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God… In Him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.
